Every successful transit project starts with asking one important question: What could go wrong and how will you respond?
That was the focus of NTI’s recent Risk Assessment for Transit Capital Projects course in Austin, Texas, where participants worked through practical exercises designed to identify project risks, evaluate potential impacts, and develop strategies to keep transit capital projects on schedule and on budget.
Through collaborative discussions and real-world scenarios, participants explored FTA risk review requirements, risk response planning, mitigation strategies, and the tools needed to strengthen project management throughout the project lifecycle.
