This course is intended for those individuals currently employed in the transit industry in any capacity in the field of transit human resources management. Prior experience in transit and/or in HR should be considered by transit agencies when selecting participants.
Description:
This is the fourth workshop of four modules that covers performance appraisal/management, organizational change, and training and development
Objectives: .- Performance Appraisal/Management
The participants will be able to:- Understand various performance appraisal systems
- Train and support other managers in the appraisal process
- Document and discipline properly
- Training and Development
The participants will be able to:- Measure the impact of training
- Demonstrate effective teaching techniques
- Utilize the latest in design and delivery techniques
- Organizational Change and Development
The participants will be able to:- Articulate the differences and similarities between organizational change and performance improvement.
- Explain the use of various improvemant initiatives
